Factor VII
Introduction
The HEMOCLOT™ FVII reagent method is a clotting assay where all the extrinsic pathway clotting factors are present and in excess, except for FVII, which is brought by the diluted tested plasma.
FVII is the limiting factor and clotting time obtained is inversely
proportional to the concentration of FVII.
Intended Use
The HEMOCLOT™ FVII reagent is proposed for measuring FVII in any clinical situation where it can be deficient:
- Vitamin K deficiency (hepatic diseases, primary biliary cirrhosis, deficiency in new-borns, antibiotherapy, …).
- Vitamin K antagonists (dicoumarol therapy, …).
- Isolated deficiencies of FVII.
- Accelerated clotting factor consumption (DIC).
Reaction principle

Major Features
As contrary to factor deficient plasma, the Hemoclot FVII reagent is not depleted from a single factor, but is build with all the extrinsic factors needed to obtain a clot, except for FVII. Deficiencies in the plasma sample other then Factor VII will not influence the end result in any way.
CE marked applications for normal and low range are available for all common coagulation analyzers.

The BIOPHEN™ FVII kit is a chromogenic method for quantitative determination of the Factor VII (FVII) activity in purified medium or citrated plasma using a chromogenic method, manual or automated.
Intended Use
The BIOPHEN™ FVII kit is intend for pharmaceutical testing of purified medium or citrated plasma for Factor VII.

Factor VII antigen
Sandwich ELISA assay for measuring human Factor VII (FVII) antigen in plasma, or in any fluid where FVII can be present. Assay designed with a rabbit polyclonal antibody specific for FVII for coating the ELISA plate and preparation of horse radish peroxidase (HRP).

Activated Factor VII
Introduction
Hyphen Biomed has developed two different assays for Factor VIIa : the Hemoclot Factor VIIa clotting assay and the chromogenic BIOPHEN Factor VIIa. Each assay has specific applications such as the detection of FVIIa in therapeutics, the follow-up of treated patients, including haemophiliacs with inhibitors, patients with severe bleeding risk etc.

Introduction
The HEMOCLOT™ Factor VIIa kit is a clotting assay for the quantitative determination of activated Factor VII (FVIIa) activity, in purified medium or citrated plasma, using manual or automated method. It is insensitive to Factor VII.

Factor VII deficient plasma products
The Factor VII Deficient Plasma can be used for the quantitative determination of Factor VII activity in human citrated plasma using a clotting assay via a manual or automated method.
In case Frozen Deficient plasma is preferred, you can chose for 5-Diagnostics Human Factor VII Deficient Plasma, Frozen.
Factor VII inhibitor plasma products
All Factor VII Inhibitor Plasmas are produced from normal human plasmas from which specific factors have been removed by selective affinity immuno-adsorption and an antibody inhibitory to the specific factor is added to provide neutralizing activity.
